1. Zones

Menu > 08-System Setup > Code > 01-Zones

Menu Summary

Programming Sequence

1. Press menu.

2. Select 08-System Setup

menu, then press ok.

3. Enter your installer code

(default: 0000).

4. Press ok.

Add Zones

5. Select a zone to add, then

press ok.

Choose Wireless or

Hardwired

6. Choose whether the zone

is wireless.

NOTE: The MG6250 has two

hardwired, on-board input/outputs (I/Os), assignable to either

zones or outputs (PGMs). As a result, this screen only appears

when you choose zones 1 and 2. Zones 3 to 64 (inclusive) are

wireless.

•If yes, press Tamper or

Learn on the device

(see a), or enter its serial

number, then press ok

(see b). Once completed,

the device’s serial number

will be registered.

•If no, I/O 1 is assigned to

zone 1. Press ok.

• Add Zones

(max. 64)

•Enter Zone Name

(max. 16 characters)

• Choose Wireless or Hardwired • Select Zone Type

• Record Voice Tag

(max. 3 seconds)

• Assign to Areas
